CONSTRUCTION
Crystal clear plastic tubes, O-sealed into solid clear blocks. White scale, engraved black, adjustable for zero, mounted between the columns on the same plane as the bores to prevent parallax errors. Stout backing board.
TYPES C/UT AND D2/UT Solid Perspex with no backing boards.
Readings taken from one column only.

Five sizes standardised with metre scales. Available with imperial and S.l. metric scales to special order.

INDICATING LIQUIDS
Liquid S.G.1.0, coloured blue-for direct reading in mm H20
Mercury-triple distilled - for direct reading in mm Hg.
Micro-porous discs are supplied to insert under the connectors to prevent any loss of mercury, while allowing air or gas to pass.
Inert liquid S.G.1.9. approx, coloured BLUE - for reading in mm H2O, multiply by exact S.G. given on bottle of liquid. e.g. true pressure mm H2O = reading x 1.972. Gives greater range than water, but much greater sensitivity than mercury. Useable temperature range -20°C to 40°C.

VALVES -- Isolating, equalising or venting valves are mounted on separate backing board
TUBING - - PVC, Nylon
CONNECTORS --- Compression type, in place of 'push-on' supplied as standard
RATINGS --- Pressure 50 p.s.i.g. 3 bar. Temperature 80°C
