 The Series 2000M/WF flow transmitter displays the flow rate from a primary differential pressure device e.g. orifice plate, venturi, averaging pitot tube etc.
Compressed gas or liquid flows in any size of pipe up to 500mm dia. can be measured. The unit consists of a surface mounted indicator housing, linked by a shielded cable to an external transducer block, connected to the tapping points of the primary device. The differential pressure output measurement is converted with electronic square root extraction to a linear flow reading and output, factory set to the D.P. device specified (Poddymeter supplied device or other). The series 2000WF is accurate and highly reliable. Providing the pressure does not exceed 10 Bar no damage can be incurred by the transducer arrangement from line pressure or one side overpressure.

Typical uses are for the measurement of water flow in pipes in conjunction with orifice plates, pitot tubes and other D.P. devices. The most common application is swimming pool flow metering.

The device may also be used for monitoring compressed gas flows up to 10 BAR line pressure.



When ordering please state: pipe size (ID), flange table (e.g. PN16 etc.) type

and specific gravity of liquid or gas flowing, normal maximum flow,

temperature and pressure, the indicator (if required e.g 2000M/WF) and the

D.P range.
